Everyone is invited to join us for our online zoom rehearsals singing Mozart Requiem for any of the next 3 weeks before we stop for our summer break. Rehearsals are at 8 p.m. on Mondays and last about an hour. Please contact ashteadchoral@gmail.com for the zoom meeting details.

We enjoyed another great zoom rehearsal this week, singing the first movement of the Mozart Requiem (which starts in D minor) and some music theory. Our usual accompanist Steve delivered a short quiz. Q10 'What key does the Mozart Requiem start in?' #wereyoupayingattention

@AshteadChoral It doesn't get close to 'proper' singing, does it? But it's much more fun to do than not! We've been zooming for 5 weeks now. Definitely a worthwhile endeavour.

We had fun at our first zoom choir rehearsal last night. We are very grateful to Andrew for leading the rehearsal. As we were all muted due to sound delay on zoom he didn’t get to hear us but was very encouraging about our wonderful sound 😀 Lovely to see over 50 members.
